Mona Lucero Spring 2014 Dress
Wendy Freeman of Berenice’s Salon used my Spring 2014 dress as a complement to her styling for the first annual Colorado Hairstyling Awards during 303 Magazine’s Denver Fashion Weekend. I used sports numbers and literally turned them on their sides to create a new graphic print. I think it has a kind of Native American feel. Photo by Melanie Watson.
Imagine 2020 Arts Initiative is Being Launched. My dress was a very small part.
This morning, Mayor Hancock presented the Imagine 2020 arts initiative and model Jasmine H. wearing one of my dress designs, walked up the aisle and gave him a bound copy of it. What an honor!

J’adore Pierre Cardin’s creations of the 1960’s. For Westword Whiteout Fashion Show on January 30th, I’m calling the inspiration “Pierre Cardin Goes Pro” which incorporates a little bit of Pierre and a bit of Colorado. Excited to be a part for an important cause, American Transplant Foundation!
